About the Role
We’re on the hunt for a Marketing Manager- Business Development to lead a variety of business development initiatives in the E-Net Solutions Inc in our Surrey Office. As the company continues to grow its National footprint in Canada, you will be responsible for developing strategies and winning new business. In addition to managing pursuits, the Business Development Manager will also be responsible for negotiating contracts and defining and executing various long-term strategic initiatives that are fundamental to the growth of the E-Net Solutions Inc. business niche. In the role, you will be responsible for reaching out to leading telecom providers like (but not limited to) Telus, Rogers, Bell and Shaw and for bidding and procuring Pan Canada infrastructure and site development projects.
In this leadership role, you will analyze the market and likely competition considering technical and non-technical needs, potential solutions and all other aspects and context of opportunities. Based on the analysis, you will develop and implement a winning strategy and pursuit plan. This is a position that requires you to be an advocate for the company and have a deep understanding of what drives behaviour in our market.
You will be responsible for
• Key responsibilities include -Identifying opportunities for winning new business opportunities and effectively applying project management standards to procure new project sites for the company.
• Proactively monitor relevant Institutional sites for notices relating to future business opportunities.
• Acting as a trusted strategic advisor and qualifying new business opportunities.
• Participate in negotiation procedures as required for any successful tenders
• Recognize and acquire intelligence relating to potential opportunities.
• Identify and acquire knowledge about competitors.
• Identify and build relationships with potential partners.
• Manage the end-to-end bidding process.

• Flexible language requirement. Preferably English, (French/Spanish is an asset)
Related Skills & Experience
• Experience within the Networking and Telecommunications sector is an asset. Prior knowledge and experience within the Telecom & IT Industry would be preferential.

• Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate.
• Demonstrated broad, complex strategic thinking capability.
• Proven ability to assess the competition and other critical factors affecting a pursuit.
