About the Opportunity

Clearspace Offices is seeking an Intermediate Designer - Commercial, to perform the following functions:
• Develop and maintain working drawings for ongoing projects, including RCP, flooring, fixtures, furniture, finishes, partition, power and communication plans, elevations and millwork details
• Interface and consult with clients (landlords, tenants) on design preferences and layout as well as presenting to clients during programming and design development
• Interface with construction teams during tender and construction phases
• Create and maintain permit drawings, tender drawings, and construction drawings for ongoing projects. This includes, but is not limited to, organizing and maintaining project plans, elevations, sections and schedules
• Mentor and assist in training junior designers as well as review their work
• Prepare and present design decks utilizing Clearspace’s standards and processes

About You
• 2-5 years of experience in Commercial Interior Design
• A Bachelor of Interior Design or closely related field from an accredited institution
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator, or similar design software
• English language required
