Company Description:
Wescon Doors, also known as Wescon Cedar Products, is a family-owned-and-operated door
manufacturer located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, boasting a production area of over
50,000ft2. Our customer range is worldwide, spanning Canadian, American, and Asian markets.
We are looking for motivated individuals to fill the role of Manufacturing Labourer. The successful
candidate will be responsible for assisting in various stages of the manufacturing process, ensuring
efficiency and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform assembly line tasks, such as loading and unloading materials, operating machinery, and
packaging finished products.
• Assist in the setup and adjustment of machinery
• Lumber stripping
• Press assistant, stitching, veneer splicing
• Tailing off machines, feeding set-up machines
• Manual Labour
• Inspect products for defects and report any issues to supervisors
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Using manual or powered equipment to transport raw materials and finished products
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Position Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in/around machinery and production equipment
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Able to work safely under the pressure of production equipment
• Able to work in a team setting
