Tire Repairer
Island Tires Ltd DBA Big O Tires Nanaimo located at 391 Albert St, Nanaimo, BC, V9R 2V8 is looking for 2 full-time and permanent Tire Repairer . Wages will be $20.50/hr and no. of hours are 40 hours/week. (Even though this is a full-time position, part-time job seekers are encouraged to apply as well).
Job Description:
o Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks and heavy equipment
o Grease booms, pulleys, buckets and other components of heavy equipment
o Replace oil, air and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks and heavy equipment
o Install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers or radiators on motor vehicles, trucks and heavy equipment
o Repair and balance tires
o Add or replace hydraulic and transmission fluids in motor vehicles, trucks and heavy equipment
o Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed
o Provide on site services
Qualifications:
Some secondary school is usually required. Several weeks of on-the-job training are usually required.
