ABOUT VACANCY
We are currently looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Merchandiser to join our team to keep up with our high service standards and on-time order completion. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Select and purchase apparel, accessories, footwear and other items for resale
• Maintain appropriate stock levels
• Prepare purchase plans, orders, verify and reconcile suppliers’ invoices
• Negotiate prices, special offers, discounts, payment, and delivery conditions with suppliers
• Monitor the progress of delivery schedules
• Research, analyze and interpret market trends
• Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories and product design events
• Establish and maintain contacts and long-term relationship with suppliers
• Maintain records in accordance with established policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• Good command in English language
• Excellent communication and negotiations skills
WORK CONDITIONS
• Permanent, full-time position
• $29.00 per hour
• 35 hours of work per week
• Overtime pay applies after 44 hours of work per week
• Work location: 290 Legacy View SE Calgary, AB T2X 2G2
