Location: Westmount, Quebec, H3Y 1Z5
Work setting: On-site, in the employer’s private residence

Wage: $25.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Employment terms: Full-time
Start date: As soon as a suitable candidate is available
Schedule: Monday to Friday, split shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Occasional weekend availability may be required.

Main duties

- Plan and prepare meals according to prescribed or requested dietary restrictions.
- Assist the care recipient with eating and drinking when necessary.
- Clean the kitchen and wash dishes after meal preparation.
- Launder clothing and linens, change bed linens, and make beds.
- Perform light housekeeping related to the care recipient’s needs and maintain a clean, tidy living area.
- Assist with medication in accordance with the care plan and applicable rules

Requirements

- Secondary school diploma.
- Certificate in nursing assistance or home care assistance.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Ability to follow dietary instructions and the individual’s care plan.
- Reliability, patience, respect, and attentiveness to the care recipient’s needs.
- Availability to work the stated split-shift schedule.
