Commercial dental laboratory

Tasks
Design dental devices; Fabricate and repair crowns, bridges or implants; Modify dental devices including full or partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, inlays, onlays, clasps and bands; Prepare plaster models and moulds; Supervise technical staff; Train other dental technicians; Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases; Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory; Maintain and order supplies; Mould wax over dentures set-up; Finish metal framework of dentures; Supervise students in training; Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays; Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures; Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys; Polish and buff dentures
